Plastic Tramps are an Alternative/Progressive Rock Band from South-West England. “An explosive, infectious clamour built to last!” – On The House Records

The band has gone from strength to strength over the years honing their sound whilst cutting their teeth at festivals such as Home Farm Fest, Chagstock, and classic venues including The Fleece. The rest of the country is next on the agenda for Plastic Tramps…

The band has a vivid stage presence with infamous striking face paint and waistcoats, they cut an image that wouldn’t be out of place in a hazy bar from a dystopian world. They’re hard to forget.

With influences ranging from local hero’s Muse to Bowie to Rage against the Machine, you’ll hear a plethora of sounds that piece together to become the Tramps’ trademark noise. A sound that you can’t quite pin down to one genre, their original touch will leave you breathless and wanting more.

With a song that BBC Introducing’s Sarah Gosling described as “Riotous, explosive energy!”, ‘Asylum Insane’ and its accompanying music video which received over 1,000 views on Youtube within 24 hours, was the third out of the 4 songs on their eponymous EP. Shot by the talented Luc Amaden, the video is the bands creative pinnacle to date as it perfectly captures the energy of the group to give you a feel of exactly what they are all about.
