Plastic Tramps were originally formed late 2016 at South Devon College. Fast forward to 2020 and the band has settled on a 3-piece line-up including Oli Pringle, Sam Jacques and latest member Robert Wardman.

During the summer of 2018 the opportunity arose for The Tramps to perform at their first festival, ‘Langaland’. In the midst of the Devon countryside, the very best of local music and entertainment combined to deliver an awesome weekend full of rum, cider and grass. The Tramps delivered a euphoric performance, setting the mood for the weekend ahead.

As a follow up to the recording of their debut EP at Sound Gallery Studios – which is full of explosive riffs and insistent basslines, the band were excited to visit Plymouth Music Collective to record a further 3 singles.

Summer 2020, they traveled to Momentum Studios for a recording session with Josiah Manning. From this, they gained the foundations for their latest EP which was released December 1st 2020.

Want to go insane? Good, with an accompanying music video that received over 1,000 views on Youtube within 24 hours ‘Asylum Insane’ was the third out of the 4 songs on the EP!

With over 40,000 streams on Spotify, The Tramps could not have asked for a better reception! They have also featured on BBC Introducing in the South West, presented by Sarah Gosling.

January 2021, The Tramps recorded a further 2 singles at Momentum Studios. ‘Pigs With Shame’ was the first to be released in May and ‘Pineapple Juice’ is set for release 1st November 2021!

Plastic Tramps are determined for the world to hear what they’ve produced together and will continue to work tirelessly by writing new music and performing at new venues when live music returns to its former glory.
